Workshop on Trust in the Cloud

A workshop on Trust in the Cloud is to be held as part of Trust 2010, the 3rd International Conference on Trust and Trustworthy Computing. The organisers are soliciting papers to be presented in the workshop.

Any topic which addresses the issues of trust within utility computing models is a candidate for submission. Examples include, but are not limited to,

  • Trust in the various "as a Service" cloud deployment models (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS),
  • Security and trust with RESTful interfaces,
  • Leveraging attestation to verify trust in cloud offerings
  • Models and approaches to trusted grids

Submissions may be one of three kinds:

  • Full reseach papers (up to ten pages, LNCS style, to be fully-refereed and published within the Trust 2010 conference proceedings, published by Springer in their Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series)
  • 'Work in progress' reports (up to four pages, refereed with a lighter touch, and published informally at the event and on a public web site)
  • 'Industrial experience' reports (up to four pages, refereed with a lighter touch, and published informally at the event and on a public web site)

Authors are requested to submit papers in anonymised form, of maximum size as indicated above (excluding references and appendices), using at least a 10pt font, and in pdf format. The kind of submission should be clearly indicated (but the Programme Committee may redirect submissions, following review). Papers may be submitted using the Conference Submission system at
